Bernardo Ferdman

Bernardo M. Ferdman, Ph.D.

Bernardo is an internationally recognized expert and thought leader on inclusion, diversity, and inclusive leadership, with over 35 years of experience in the U.S. and around the world as an organization and leadership development consultant and coach. His particular focus is on supporting leaders and organizations in bringing inclusion to life in interpersonal interactions, leadership practices, and organizational cultures and systems. As an executive coach, Bernardo combines curiosity, vulnerability, intercultural awareness, and a belief in each client’s strengths with forthrightness, incisive questions, and clarity of thought in ways that both support and challenge clients get to the heart of and address the key issues that they are working on. Bernardo is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the California School of Professional Psychology of Alliant International University. His books, Inclusive Leadership: Transforming Diverse Lives, Workplaces, and Societies (Routledge, 2021) and Diversity at Work: The Practice of Inclusion (Wiley, 2014), provide state-of-the-art, research-based understanding of inclusion and how to systematically create it, foster it and navigate its challenges.
