Background and Experience

Marianne serves a variety of industries ranging from leaders at hedge funds, private equity, Big 4 accounting firm partners, attorneys, and entrepreneurial thinkers, to an orthopaedic surgeon and through him advising the Duke Medical School leadership program. During Marianne’s 20 years with IBM, she was chosen to coach and spearhead instruction and curriculum development for many technological projects, but none more important than the pivotal Executive Workgroup Computing program, commissioned by CEO Lou Gerstner to bring the first executive computing platform to IBM’s senior-most executives. This transformational program influenced the way many of IBM’s executives incorporated technology into their daily practices. Marianne was chosen to personally coach Mr. Gerstner and 100 of his senior-most, direct report executives on the use and integration of that era’s foremost technology. Subsequently, she was asked to relay her experiences with IBM’s first executive computing platform to a variety of major corporations.
