John Fulkerson

John Fulkerson has more than 35 years of global experience enhancing the performance of individual executives, teams, and organizations. His experience includes the design and delivery of a wide range of interventions and initiatives for leadership and management development. His coaching practice is across multiple organization levels, but with a primary emphasis on senior staff and team development. The substance of his coaching is on enabling executives to identify and make the practical and personal changes needed to be more effective leaders and grow their respective organizations.

Background and Experience

John has served as vice president for leadership development at PepsiCo; as vice president for leadership and organization capability at Cisco Systems; and as vice president for organization development at Young & Rubicam. He has also served as an assessment psychologist for the identification and development of high ability staff officers for the Central Intelligence Agency. John has consultant experience in consumer products, high technology, insurance, investments, banking, information technology, research & development, hospitals, and manufacturing. His practical approach to leadership and organizational issues is enhanced by having served as the chief personnel officer and as a director of member bank boards for a multi-bank holding company. 

Mr. Fulkerson has extensive international experience and has traveled to more than 60 countries working on leadership and workforce development issues. He is the author of book chapters, articles, and is a speaker on leadership and organization effectiveness.
