Background and Experience

John is a management expert with 30+ years of strategic, operational, and organizational leadership experience in a wide range of industries and high growth environments. As a former naval officer and platoon commander of multiple Navy SEAL platoons, he learned and applied force-multiplying techniques to help teams deliver superior results. As founder and CEO of Voxtec International, and as COO at Platform Science, John led cross-functional teams to strong performance during various startup stages of dynamic high growth. Prior to starting Voxtec, John consulted to multiple Fortune 500 and industry leading companies to help them during strategic business transformations. He has served as interim CEO, GM, CFO and CRO in various organizations during recruitment and onboarding of new executives. He emphasizes helping leaders and teams simplify complex situations and commit to high-participation continuous improvement. John is an operationally focused and financial metrics-oriented leader, astute at connecting strategic goals to operational improvements and financial performance. He is a two-time world champion in rowing and paddle sports, as well as the former coach of a national championship women’s masters rowing program in Annapolis, Maryland. John enjoys collaboration and being an author of management, leadership and self-improvement articles on LinkedIn and other forums.
