Sally Ourieff, M.D. has over twenty-five years of experience as a physician, corporate and health care leader, and executive consultant and coach. She works with C-Suite executives to ensure their leadership has impact and drives strategic and operational goals. Her clients range from start-ups to Fortune 25 companies in multiple industries. Sally’s medical background allows her to more easily understand the challenges that physician and scientist leaders often experience. She brings deep expertise in organizational systems, change management, individual and team dynamics, and behavior change.

Background and Experience

Sally partners with executives seeking to expand their leadership impact, take on a new role, or manage complex and emerging risks and opportunities. She also works directly with teams to help develop alignment, high performance, and productive team culture. Sally is a leadership coach and facilitator in multiple programs in executive education at Harvard Business School, including their advanced management program. She is on the faculty at The Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University where she helped launch their executive MBA for mid-career physicians. She currently co-directs the leadership-coaching program and teaches the MBA capstone course, in which each physician must lead and implement a major, data-driven change initiative. Previously, Sally was associate medical director of Merit Behavioral Healthcare of BCBS and medical director of addictions and child psychiatry at Deaconess Waltham Hospital.

Sally is a founding fellow and advisor of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School and cofounded The Boston Executive Coaching Round Table (Boston’s leading executive coaches). She is on the board of directors of two healthcare nonprofits: Care 2 Communities and The EDI Institute.
