Sandra draws on her broad and international experience in leadership development and organizational change in complex systems to support clients to lead more effectively. She works with evidence-based frameworks, including adult stage development, polarities, and complexity science to help clients expand their awareness and make sense of their situation to respond effectively to complex challenges. Her clients learn to expand their influence to motivate, collaborate, build trust and coherence of understanding to realize strategic objectives.

Background and Experience

For 20 years, Sandra has consulted in the areas of scenario planning, leadership development, and organizational culture and change. Since 2007, she has successfully coached senior leaders in national security, healthcare, pharma, technology, finance, manufacturing, and consumer product companies. She also offers support to grass roots leaders to serve their communities more effectively.

Early in her career, as an entrepreneur in the arts, Sandra managed the commissions of public sculpture and organized exhibitions of contemporary art. After earning a doctorate in business administration, she served as adjunct faculty and a researcher with the GLOBE project at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. While in Philadelphia, she was a senior associate of Decision Strategies International, a leader in scenario planning. Later in 2007, called upon by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, she served as the defense transformation chair on the faculty of the U.S. Army War College where she designed curriculum, taught, and coached senior leaders in national security. She also collaborated with her counterparts in other professional military institutions to forge relationships with international security partners to improve leadership development for security leaders globally. She has published and presented internationally on effective leadership in complex and uncertain environments.
