Assessing Senior Executives For Selection and Development

CASE STUDY: Identifying Leadership Strengths and Development Opportunities

A prominent healthcare organization partnered with us to conduct a comprehensive, developmentally focused assessment of 25 senior leaders. The objective was to identify each leader’s core strengths and development opportunities while evaluating the potential organizational impact of these findings.

 

Our approach centered on establishing a dedicated Leadership Assessment Center, utilizing three distinct assessment methodologies to ensure comprehensive data collection. In addition to formal testing instruments, we conducted in-depth structured interviews with each participant to capture their professional background, leadership experiences, and key activities. These interviews also allowed us to assess specific competencies that standardized testing might not fully capture.

 

The assessment process yielded detailed individual profiles highlighting identified strengths, targeted development opportunities, and potential risk factors for each leader. Beyond individual results, we provided strategic recommendations designed to help the organization maximize both current leadership capabilities and future potential, creating value for the executives and the broader company.
